November 2004: Crane Tech Company Conference

Crane Tech held it's annual company conference that focuses on company improvements.  "These conferences are great," says Tony Dotto, Director of Training for Crane Tech, "not only do we get the chance to have everyone learn what's happened over the past year, but it is the one time of year that everyone (instructors, management, and office staff) has the opportunity to sit in one room going over issues, it's a great three days."  At this year's conference some of the guys got together for a friendly game of golf.  All was going well until the one of the players backed over the yardage marker. The littlest Collier shall remain anonymous.  Ever witness a group of safety professionals try to un-jam a 150-yard marker (PVC pipe) from a golf cart axle?  Not a pretty sight. Conference was a great success with three days devoted to company improvements and enhancing continuity between everyone in the company.
