In July 2007, Crane Tech licensed its proprietary learning management database "Course Builder" ™ to the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators at no cost to the NCCCO. For this valuable and significant contribution, the NCCCO awarded Crane Tech a coveted Platinum Sponsor recognition.

After reviewing several learning management software products commercially available, NCCCO staff reviewed Crane Tech's database. Comments from NCCCO staff were positive, stating they had not found any product that would work as well or that could more closely meet the needs of the NCCCO.

Crane Tech's learning management database enables test questions to be house in a manner that ties each question to a specific sub-domain (learning objective) and multiple references. Tests are assembled by assigning questions to the test document and the appropriate number of questions from each sub-domain is easily managed. Crane Tech students bubble in a scan card for each test which are scanned into the database. The process allows each test question to automatically be analyzed for performance for one client or over the broad spectrum where any question may be assigned.
