ASME B30.5 requires signal persons to be tested and to demonstrate
qualification as a signal person. See Signal Person
Qualifications below.
Many signal persons have little or no knowledge of mobile crane
characteristics or capacity limits. This program is designed to
help you meet ASME requirements and to provide Signal Persons the
knowledge they need to safely signal cane loads into position.

Although a new requirement for ASME B30.5, Crane Tech recognized the
need for specialized Signal Person training as far back as 1991 when
provided Signal Person training for the US Navy.
A dynamic program filled with critical information required for crane
operators and signal persons to work from the same knowledge base.
Crane Tech reserves the right to cancel any seminar, at their own
discretion, at any time. Upon any course cancellation, Crane
Tech's only obligation is to refund any tuitions paid for that class.
Persons making airline reservations must keep Crane Tech's cancellation
policy in mind when making flight arrangements.
