Mother’s Day is a time to recognize the women and mother figures who often balance careers, caregiving, leadership, and personal goals while continuing to show up for the people who depend on them.
At Crane Tech, we know many mothers are also working toward something bigger for themselves and their families, whether that means learning new skills, changing careers, or creating long-term stability through skilled trades.
In honor of Mother’s Day, we’re proud to launch our 2026 Mother’s Day Scholarship Contest to help support mothers and mother figures pursuing new opportunities in the load handling industry.

Opportunity starts with taking the first step. Crane Tech’s Mother’s Day Scholarship supports mothers and mother figures pursuing new opportunities in the skilled trades.industries—but training costs can sometimes be a barrier. This scholarship is one way we hope to make that path more accessible.
Mother’s Day Scholarships
Three individuals will be selected by a panel of Crane Tech staff.
1st Place: $4,995
Full tuition for Crane Tech Professional Operator Development
Our three-week Professional Operator Development program combines classroom instruction and hands-on training designed to help individuals build foundational crane knowledge and prepare for real-world career opportunities.
2nd Place: $1,000
Applied toward any eligible Crane Tech open enrollment training program.
3rd Place: $500
Applied toward any eligible Crane Tech open enrollment training program.
Scholarship funds apply to tuition only and must be used by December 31, 2026.
Who can apply?
This opportunity is open to mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, guardians, and mother figures who are ready to invest in their future through training and career development.
If you’ve spent your time helping others grow while continuing to pursue your own goals, we encourage you to apply.

Submit a written essay or a 1–2 minute video telling us why you deserve this opportunity.
No word count requirements. No fancy editing. If you’re submitting a video, recording it on your phone is completely fine. Just speak from the heart and share your story.

- How motherhood or a mother figure has influenced your journey
