Mobile Crane Operator (On-Site)
Mobile Crane Operator Training is a dynamic program designed for operators and supervisors of all types of Mobile Cranes. Each program is custom designed to address your specific cranes. Equipment covered in this training may include: Hydraulic cranes, lattice boom cranes, carry deck cranes, and boom trucks. Course topics include Crane operational characteristics, load chart use, crane set-up, use of jibs and extensions, load indicating devices, crane stability, structural competence, frequent & periodic inspections, hazard awareness, operator responsibilities, lift planning, and standards the operator must know for compliance. Training stresses a practical approach with proven methods of accident prevention.
Specific Training Objectives:
To ensure that all personnel with responsibilities in mobile crane operations fully understand the hazardous nature of weight handling equipment operation and the requirements necessary to avoid accidents.
