Crane Tech is proud to offer the most extensive crane and rigging training facility in the southeastern United States. Training may be conducted at our Corporate Center or at our Tampa Training Center, where students enjoy clean, modern facilities. Mobile cranes, overhead bridge cranes, forklift, aerial lift, and extensive rigging gear provide a dynamic learning environment with over 20,0000 square feet of covered training space.
Our corporate office and our Training Center include state-of-the-art classrooms custom built to maximize knowledge sharing—with smartboard technology, rigging hardware for hands-on exploration and visual learning, energy-efficient lighting for less distraction, and don’t forget the refreshment area for re-fueling the mind and body. Sparing no expense to create an environment conducive to learning, Crane Tech explores every opportunity to make learning interactive and comfortable, where students can focus on tasks—just another way that we provide quality training to produce reliable results.
When you want hands-on training, there is no better place to learn real-world situations than from our 2-acre facility. With a state-of-the-art classroom and more than 20,000 sq-feet undercover, two overhead crane bays (220′ and 160′), five overhead bridge cranes, fixed cab hydraulic cranes, swing cab hydraulic crane, boom supported aerial lift, forklift and a large assortment of rigging gear. There is little we can’t accomplish. Hands-on training is simply the best way to learn, and our Tampa Training Center provides the opportunity to do so at a first-rate facility.
Safety is always first at Crane Tech. Not only do we teach safety, we also practice it every day. Each of our facilities is extremely well-maintained with permanent maintenance staff. We start every task with a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) to make sure everyone understands the importance of never taking anything for granted. Mobile crane inspector training includes overhead tie-offs with retractable safety lanyards to prevent slips and falls. We provide hard hats, and safety gear for students and everyone receives a Crane Tech high visibility vest. Our mobile crane access incudes a custom designed platform with steps and hand rails so students can focus on learning and not falling while accessing our cranes.
