This is a boom truck operator qualification training course. Participants complete written assessments and hands-on evaluations, and employers use the provided documentation to designate operators as qualified.
Boom truck operators engaged in general industry activities such as delivery applications, employer-based qualification training such as this program are acceptable. For construction lifting activities defined under OSHA 1926 Subpart CC, operators must obtain certification.

Crane Tech provides boom truck training and written/practical evaluations that support an employer’s qualification decision. Evaluation results are valid for two (2) years. Employers must re-evaluate operators sooner if unsafe operation is observed, workplace conditions change, or lift configuration or attachments change. Operator qualifications are not transferable between employers.
